The tweet in question was intended to tie in to Wednesday night's episode of The Colbert Report in which they discussed the hypocrisy of the Washington Redskin's owner Dan Snyder, who responded to criticism by creating a foundation to help provide more opportunities for "Original Americans."
But without room to adequately reference that announcement in a satirical way per usual of the program, the words alone came across as simply racist. Thus an outburst of negative responses from the show's Twitter followers:

The Twitter bot was programmed to randomly generate a new method of breakup every few hours based on Paul Simon's hit song "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover." So no need to be coy, Roy...just slip out the back, Jack. And if neither of those are your name, just check out this Twitter feed, and you'll have the rhyming answer on how to leave your lover in no time.
Paul Simon claimed that there must be fifty ways to leave your lover, but in his famous song he named far fewer than that. Egress Methods, a twitter bot, fulfills the promise that Mr. Simon could not — and then some –tweeting a randomly generated formula for lover-leaving every few hours, from now into eternity.

Lost is a fictional television show with polar bears, smoke monsters, and mysterious deities on a tropical island, while the 239 people on MH370 are still missing or likely dead. Their families and loved ones are distraught with grief, and authorities are no closer to finding the plane or any remains in the Indian Ocean almost two weeks after it disappeared.
Even comedian Paul Scheer, who hosted the Lost 10-year reunion panel at the Paley Center Sunday night, asked the audience to refrain from asking the show's creators and actors about MH370.
KETV has since deleted the inconsiderate tweet.
