Like a true American hero, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson spent his Labor Day weekend rescuing puppies. He posted this picture on his Instagram after diving head first into the pool after his two new baby dogs, Brutus and Hobbs, decided to go for a swim. Brutus, on the left, sank immediately but of course was saved in the nick of time leading The Rock to conclude his story with the following lessons:
A) Not all puppies have the instinct to doggie paddle. B) Some puppies (like BRUTUS) will be so in shock by experiencing water they will sink extremely fast so react quick. C) While spiriting to save your puppies life, before you dive in, try and throw your cel phone to safety. Don't keep it in your pocket... like I did.
Saturday Night Live has done sketches exactly like this before, which is maybe why this particular one was cut for time, and just was uploaded recently.
However, there's just always something slightly magical about seeing Dwayne Johnson have a debased sense of humor about himself. Like when he honored his fanny pack past.
It's definitely a reason to watch The Dance of the Daisies.
It's tough to say what is more disturbing about this Instagram's snippet of Dwayne Johnson's life, the dislocated finger or his casual glee about it.
All the same, he remains supremely capable at his social media skills and so we all remain very much impressed.
You can stop showing off now, Dwayne.
We all hope Dwayne Johnson's Instagram account is an accurate representation of the man. For all the side-swiping he's doing on the harmless cars of Massachusetts, he steps up his gentleman wiles and takes responsibility for all the damage he causes.
Hittin' cars and makin' friends.
Apparently, nothing can stop The Rock. Not the San Andreas fault and not Guiness World Records.
Dwayne Johnson has long used social media expertly to extoll his accomplisments or flex his pecs (his Instagram account is where most of his goodies are shown), but it looks like he needed to up his Millenial cred even more by dominating the world of selfies.
Preppin' for his role in 2016's Central Intelligence, Dwayne Johnson busted some legit moves on his Instagram account May 1.
Kevin Hart and Ed Helms will also be in the movie, so where are their dance moves??
For more of Johnson's dancing, here's him showing his steps with Ellen:
