It was only a few weeks ago when we learned about the break up between Kermit the Frog and Ms. Piggy.

It turns out that split had been happening for quite some time and they only just recently made it public.

If this is news to you, then you'd better sit down as you read Ms. Piggy's announcement on Facebook. It's the same that Kermit circulated around Twitter.

Also, never forget that these are not real people and this is all shameless marketing for the upcoming Muppets tv show on ABC.

But there's no reason to be cynical, so play along if you'd like.

Saturday Night Live has done sketches exactly like this before, which is maybe why this particular one was cut for time, and just was uploaded recently.

However, there's just always something slightly magical about seeing Dwayne Johnson have a debased sense of humor about himself. Like when he honored his fanny pack past.

It's definitely a reason to watch The Dance of the Daisies.

If you somehow think that Benedict Cumberbatch only serves the world as Kahn and Martin Freeman's only role is as a hobbit, you would do well to remember they work splendidly together in a little BBC show called Sherlock

We can forgive your forgetfulness; it's been close to two years since we've heard anything from the detecting duo.

Nevertheless, we knew that they would return for a Christmas special later this year. And we also knew they would be going back in time for a special Edwardian/Victorian adventure.

And now, thanks to the BBC we have the first photo showing what they will look like in their 1800s duds.

We all know that X Files is coming back in January for a short resurgence. We all know that David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have been hanging around each other, being all cute.

One thing we don't know yet is how it will all look whenever those whistling opening credits role and Mulder and Scully step back into our lives.

Well, Fox has a a little snippet to show you. It proves that, yes, Mulder and Scully will both be there, holding guns, looking cool.

Unfortunately, they slap it on a promo for old X Files. Everyone knows we love old X Files, that's why we want more of it.

Willenbee totally steals the show here, but Schumer gives a clear peak into the fabulous life of becoming royalty.

"Incubating a prince is literally your only role."

Just like every girl's dream!

So, sh*t went down for serious at last night's season five finale. People, as they have been all season, are mad.

Here's a compilation of people being angry.

6 Set Photos that Prove the Truth of the X Files Return is Out There

The X Files is coming back. We've known this. This isn't the thing.

What is the thing is that filming has begun for its January return and photos are already beginning to pour out like some sort of alien goo.

Take a look at David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson getting in character for a return to the weird, conspiratorial world of FBI casework.

HBO is getting back into the mockumentary game with the upcoming movie 7 Days in Hell starring Kit Harrington and Andy Samberg as two rival tennis pros.

The minute-long trailer only gives you a taste of the tournament to come, but it at least leaves us comfortable in the knowledge that Will Forte is involved. We can all sleep easy after that.

This marks a presumptive comedic turn for Harrington, who has mostly stayed on the dour side of things as Jon Snow on Game of Thrones. Although, he has shown that he can be pretty funny if given the chance.
