The new star of Road House will be different from original actor Patrick Swayze in two ways—physical appearance and the title of UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion.
That's right, beloved MMA fighter Ronda Rousey will star in the reboot of this classic 1989 film.
This isn't Rousey's first foray into the acting world. Beside her successful fighting career, Rousey has had acting roles in Furious 7, The Expendables 3 and Entourage. And the Internet really wants her to play Captain Marvel .
Variety reported that Rousey reached out to Swayze's widow, Lisa Niemi, for her blessing, which she gave.
So if anyone has a problem with Rousey taking over the iconic role, you shouldn't let her know about it. You might just get one of these...
