The Oculus Rift is finally coming to consumers early next year, and included with it comes an Xbox One controller.  If that doesn't tickle your fancy, you may want to get your hands on their newly announced "Oculus Touch," a set of motion tracking controllers designed for 360-degrees of motion tracking equipped with a thumbstick, two buttons, a hand trigger, and an analog trigger.

The Oculus Touch can detect input from all of your fingers, and features shaking haptic technology to let you "feel" the objects you're touching.  If you thought you looked like a huge nerd using the Oculus Rift before, just wait until you see yourself using these things too.

Attendees of E3 next week will get to try these controllers out in person, while the rest of us will have to wait to get our mitts on them until Q1 of next year.

Harry Shearer, the voice of Ned Flanders, Mr Burns, Smithers, Principal Skinner, and Lenny has left the Simpsons after decades with the show.  Reportedly related to issues with "back-end and merchandising," Shearer announced his departure from the show on Twitter:

It seems like his departure is not on terrible terms, but came down to a contract issue limiting Shearer's ability to lend his talents to other projects.
Here's hoping the show can find a perfect new voice for Mr Burns; it certainly won't be the same without chearer.

Somehow the story is even worse than that sounds.

Kam Brock, @Akilahbrock, was pulled over by New York police and her car impounded when officers suspected she was driving under the influence of marijuana (none was found in the vehicle). After getting upset with officers and undergoing a medical evaluation, doctors thought she was suffering from a mental disorder - thinking her claims of being followed by Barack Obama on Twitter were bunk.

The only problem is that Barack Obama DOES follow @AkilahBrock, and around 640,000 other people. And now Brock is faced with thousands in medical bills after being sent to a facility. She's now pursuing legal action as a result of these stupid, insane events.

"I look forward to bringing our beloved NBC sitcom to a larger audience by moving it online. I vow to dominate our new competition. Rest easy, Big Bang Theory. Look out, Bang Bus!"
