East? West? South?
These are just a few of the enlightening questions that we learn when Jimmy Fallon got a hold of a conversation taped between Shaquille O'Neal and Kim Kardashian.
It's always a joy whenever Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are in the same room together. So, it was nice of them to share that with America when they strode their bad selves across the Tonight Show stage July 14.
They were also kind enough to share their first co-starring film since 2008's Baby Momma. It's a story where that dynamic duo plays oblivious sisters and is, fittingly, titled Sisters.
It's not amazing, but you're sure to find a few chuckles in the trailer.
Jimmy Fallon returned to The Tonight Show July 13 after an an unexpected tape canceling June 26.
At the time, the only news that gave any cause to the cancellation was that Fallon had suffered a 'hand injury'. It turns out the real story was a little more gruesome.
He told the whole of it on last night's program, making it a funny story of tripping on a rug and catching his wedding ring on a table. Then, he said that what he suffered was called a 'ring aulsion' and he said, "Don't Google it."
So, we Googled it.
Essentially, his wedding ring caught on something and ripped the skin and muscle off the bone.
That's why you don't want to Google it.
In the video, Fallon said he was in the ICU for 10 days and it took a very delicate 6 hour surgery to reattach his finger so it wouldn't have to be straight up amputated.
But everything went well, and we're glad to hear it. Fallon's made a solid go on The Tonight Show and provided many hours of entertainment, which he comments on very sentimentally in the video.
Glad you're back, Jimmy. Now keep bringing us terribly weird gems like this.
But really, It's like, why even get married if that could happen, right?
Bad news for late night. Jimmy Fallon injured his hand enough to warrant surgery June 26, according to TMZ.
Apparently, he did tape his Thursday show yesterday and was then seen out in a restaurant. Some fans even grabbed a picture with him there:
Then something happened this morning, according to the story:
His rep says the injury to his left hand happened early this morning in his apartment. He went to the hospital, and a specialist recommended he have surgery immediately.
Friday night's taping of the 'Tonight Show' has been cancelled, but Jimmy's rep says he's expected to make a full recovery.
Here's wishing the host a speedy recovery on the road back to slow jamming the news.
Jimmy Fallon loves doing impression, loves doing musical impressions and loves creating bizarre scenarios in which to do them.
Dressing up as James Taylor and joining the real one on a seesaw is maybe the best incarnation of this variety of nonsense Fallon has brought to the Tonight Show. We love it.
The Roots back up Ed Sheeran in this latest of a series from The Tonight Show. They've been doing a few of these live sessions having artists cover other artists and it has turned out really well so far.
Check out this and the others, then join us in wondering where Sheeran gets all his damn charm.
David Letterman is calling it quits tonight as he airs his final show after 33 years of hosting first Late Night with David Letterman and then The Late Show with David Letterman.
The last few weeks have been filled with ongoing tributes to the long time talk show host has he bids adieu.
Here are the best goodbyes.
It's an enjoyable late night stunt. However, the best line of the whole thing was swept away in all the talk.
Nick Offerman said this to his teammate Hugh.
"If we got married, we'd be Nick JackOfferman."
Also, Offerman has no facial hair and looks really upset about it.
But that may just be his normal expression.
