Do you still believe? Do you still want to believe?

Well here's further proof that The X-Files really is coming back to television in January.

It's not as good as the full thing, but it's a whole heck of a lot better than the measly 15 seconds of trailer that FOX previously gave us.

And it's way better than when FOX wanted you to watch an ad before letting you see a few seconds of the upcoming six-episode miniseries.

So, are you ready? Can you wait?

If you need help remembering just what the hell was going on when the original series ended in 2002, what with the smoking man and the aliens and the what not, you can find that right here.

Enough of our yapping, get to watching!

FOX, hearing you salivate like ravenous dogs you are, dropped more footage for The X Files' January return July 16.

Following their pattern of only releasing the tiniest bit of information possible at a time, the new teaser gives fans only 15 seconds, hinting at what's to come.

But, let's be even more obvious here. It's really just seven slightly-moving still frames that only give the barest of information. Either FOX just doesn't have that much to show.or they have a marketing strategy developed from the ancient art of Chinese water torture.

Let's look at those frames now:

What do you think? Spaceship? Probably a spaceship. Though it could also be some terribly designed tire.

These guys don't look too happy. Are they walking to the spaceship?

Someone dragging bloody bodies. Maybe away from the spaceship? Maybe to the spaceship?

Someone getting a weird shot. It's probably a vaccination against spaceship flu.

Someone having trouble believin'.

Shouldn't that poster be super old and yellowed by now? It's been decades.

Oh, and Mulder's in it. But you knew that.

And Scully, too.

And that's it!

Well, FOX will no doubt let some more footage slip through its grabby fingers sometime before the January 24 six-episode miniseries begins. We'll just have to keep believin' until that happens.

If you weren't irritated at the last four or five projects with M. Night Shyamalan's name, then maybe this new Fox show will interest you. Matt Dillon and Terrance Howard co-star in this Pacific Northwestern, kooky small town, mystery show that apparently isn't Twin Peaks.

Given that Howard's starring vehicle Empire is a little bit popular you can't imagine he'll remain a longstanding member of that cast.

If you're still excited, it's coming in May!

In September, Fox gave the go-ahead on a series set in the Batman universe called Gotham. Focused on the career of Jim Gordon before he became the Commissioner of Police, Gotham will take place during Bruce Wayne's youth and will portray the origins of some of Batman's most famous villains.

We're guessing to see the stories of The Joker, The Riddler, Penguin and maybe Catwoman. We'll just have to wait to see.
