Get your ass to NBC!

If you had a list of the people likely to replace Donald Trump in his hosting duties on Celebrity Apprentice, Arnold Schwarzenegger would be at darn near the top of it.

The Hill has the story:

The network announced Monday morning that the former California governor will take over the seat relinquished by the GOP presidential front-runner when the show returns to the air next year.

"I have always been a huge fan of 'The Celebrity Apprentice' and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork," Schwarzenegger said in a statement. "I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions for charity. Let's get started!"

It's a bit politically interesting seeing the celebrity-turned-governor replacing the celebrity-turned-presidential-candidate. If only there wasn't that damn law that required an American birth, we could very well have a President Schwarzenegger.

Wonder if Trump would then demand to see his birth certificate.

Trump trumpeted the announcement on his Twitter account.

As if lion hunters weren't having a bad enough week, now the Terminator's after them.

Joining the growing outrage over the Minnesotan lion-hunting dentist who illegally killed a Zimbabwean lion, Arnold Schwarzenegger took to Instagram July 30. He had a few things to say about the ongoing practice of hunting big cats.

He used the hashtag #5forbigcats drawing attention to a National Geographic donation drive raising money to expand conservation efforts.

Big cats in the wild are disappearing at an alarming rate. In fact, within our lifetime, lions in the wild could disappear forever. In support of World Lion Day (August 10), we're raising money to preserve big cats—like lions—and their habitats through National Geographic's Big Cats Initiative.

Your donation, no matter how small, will make a very real difference in the lives of these majestic creatures. From building livestock enclosures to save snow leopards in Nepal to combating lion snaring and poaching in Zambia, the Big Cats Initiative provides on-the-ground conservation and education support to preserve big cat populations worldwide. 100 percent of your donation supports the fieldwork and expeditions of the Society's scientists and explorers, and our work to share their remarkable discoveries with the world.

Earlier that same day, before using his old body building accolades to define a trophy, he posted another message to big cat hunters on Instagram.

July 30 was also Arnold's birthday. The former governor of California chose to spread a little message against big cat hunting while turning 68 years old.

Appropriately, he's a Leo.

Here's something that absolutely no one saw coming — a joke song about the Terminator sequel opening July 1.

I mean, this is the Internet, people can't just go around making songs that clown on popular franchises and properties. Who do these people think they are??

Game of Thrones plays quite the role as well. If you've EVER wondered what it may be like for someone to make a musical joke video involving game of thrones.

As a long time user of Reddit to spread his good word Arnold Schwarzenegger likes to give back to that community every once in a while.

He's done things like invite redditors to ride on his tank and give helpful advice to those struggling with their fitness.

So, it was only natural for him to invite a select group of redditors out to come premiere his newest stab at former glory with Terminator Genisys.

Unfortunately, the movie isn't getting the highest reviews. So, take Arnold's promotional words with a grain of future salt.

Sure, you're fighting a war against the machines and all, but the Terminator just needs a break already.

Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of @TerminatorGenisys for a fantastic shoot. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup – we couldn't have done it without you. I can't wait to see our finished project and I know we'll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I'll be back.

He'll be back...in theaters July 1, 2015.
