During an interview with Game News, Uncharted voice actor Nolan North said he didn't think fans want a movie based around the Indiana Jones-esque series.

North voices and does the motion capture work for the series' protagonist Nathan Drake.

Even if he's wrong, Sony's motion picture division might not be able to get the thing off the ground.

Sony announced a film adaptation of the property back in 2009 and have had a ton of trouble putting it together.

They still don't have a director for it, having courted David O. Russell, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon and more for the project.

And this past August, Sony pushed the release date back to 2017.

So, if you're right Mr. North (and you probably aren't), you won't be disappointed if the film never happens.

Well, we suppose this is one way to market a football video game.

Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Julio Jones, Rob Gronkowski, Colin Kaepernick, Antonio Brown and Buffalo Bills Coach Rex Ryan all chose, presumably of their own free will, to join this EA Sports commercial for the annual Madden Game.

It's somewhere in between that insane Kickstarter success Kung Fury and a sci-fi Karate Kid. Including Colin Kaepernick as Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman of course.

And yes, there is a dinosaur.

It's also nice to see McLovin' doing some work.

Is it just us or does this seem really similar to Tay Tay's Bad Blood video.

The game will release Aug. 25.

Looks like an Oscar-winning movie will join Tangled in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III.

Over the weekend at the Disney-centric D23 expo, Kotaku reported on the newest world coming to the beloved video game series:

Sora and crew will ride the robot Baymax and fight their way through a Big Hero 6 world in Kingdom Hearts III, Square Enix announced today during the D23 expo in Anaheim, California.

Big Hero 6, an animated Disney film that stars a 14-year-old prodigy and his team of superheroes as they fight against a mysterious masked villain, was released in 2014 and won the Oscar for Best Animated Film.

Disney put out a whole trailer to announce the addition:

So far, there's been no release date mentioned for the game that mashes up Disney characters and settings within a Japanese-style action game, which unfortunately might mean it won't come until 2017.

For a refresher on what's been shown of Kingdom Hearts III so far, check out this E3 trailer from last June.

Pounding of the Day: The Internet Rightfully Mocks Time Magazine's VR Cover

As the video game industry prepares for what could possibly be a massive shift in the medium, Time magazine revealed its cover story on virtual reality Aug. 6.

Unfortunately, many proponents of the new technology thought it disgraced the upcoming products and was counterproductive to get mainstream VR success.

The Internet just thought it was funny.

Whether you love him, hate him or have never heard of him, PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg) leads the YouTube charts. His 38 million subscribers is a full 15 million more than the second place YouTuber and he boasts more than 9 billion (with a 'B') total views.

That's going to make the guy some money. Even if the vast majority of his videos revolve around playing video games and yelling in that way he does.

BBC reported July 7 that PewDiePie made $7 million in 2014. The story went around like things do and some vitriol was thrown his way like it does.

To his great credit, PewDiePie uploaded a video responding to some of the anger he received about the large paycheck. It's surprisingly frank, very respectful and ultimately charming.

From the beginning:

"I just feel like it's not important to anyone and I just want to make entertaining videos"

To the end:

"Conclusion, it seems like the whole world cares more about how much money I make than I do myself."

This new Internet economy is still not something understood or even accepted by a great many people. Especially when new public figures like PewDiePie inspire flame wars and derision. It's refreshing to have a blunt response about money come from one of the Internet's biggest stars.

The Oculus Rift is finally coming to consumers early next year, and included with it comes an Xbox One controller.  If that doesn't tickle your fancy, you may want to get your hands on their newly announced "Oculus Touch," a set of motion tracking controllers designed for 360-degrees of motion tracking equipped with a thumbstick, two buttons, a hand trigger, and an analog trigger.

The Oculus Touch can detect input from all of your fingers, and features shaking haptic technology to let you "feel" the objects you're touching.  If you thought you looked like a huge nerd using the Oculus Rift before, just wait until you see yourself using these things too.

Attendees of E3 next week will get to try these controllers out in person, while the rest of us will have to wait to get our mitts on them until Q1 of next year.

Is it weird that I'm excited about all those people who are about to die horribly?

The trailer brings loads of new stuff to see, but perhaps weirdest of all, the guy we assume is the player character has an audible line of dialogue!

Oculus Inventor Palmer Luckey has put to rest any fears that may reside about access to adult entertainment on the upcoming consumer version of the Oculus Rift.

Variety has the story about the Facebook-owned technology:

Asked about plans to block any X-rated content or apps during a panel at the first Silicon Valley Virtual Reality Conference in San Jose, Calif., on Monday, Luckey responded: "The rift is an open platform. We don't control what software can run on it," adding: "And that's a big deal."

Luckey's remarks stood out as most of his fellow panelists tried to dodge controversial questions around topics like adult entertainment as well as motion sickness and other side effects of using virtual reality headsets.

So fear not, folks. You'll still be able to get plenty of weird with your future headgear. The Rift doesn't yet have a release date, but Oculus said it will come out in the first quarter of 2016.
